Alex, Mike. 48 to 52. NOTHING ???? else mattered but the economy? If it wasn't for Oprah and Tina Fey, Palin could have collected those 4 missing female percent easily.
Well, I saw two large African American ladies in the rest top in NC looking over Palin's resignation news. One of them said "But she could see Russia from her house..." and slapped her knee in bewildered laughter. That's exactly a problem. Fey makes jokes to tongue-in-cheek intellectuals but YouTube, JayLeno and a minister on Sunday put it in a more pedestrian form.

Oleg.. nothing :) 90% of people in this country will vote the same way no matter what.. the election is about 10% swing vote.. or even less probably.. 4% is a big win.

Well, a beautiful, powerful, funny, newcomer female Governor was supposed to make a dent. Instead, she got buried alive.
it happens to all conservative women...:-)...it's against the "law" to be prolife and be a female (in the liberal minds) - it breaks all their stereotype that only men are against abortions to keep them enslaved (md) ...AND to give birth to a Down syndrome baby..

True. Condoleeza Rice got nothing for being first African American female secretary of state. That latest Attorney General was greeted as if he invented water or something.
Condoleeza would have been a better choice - too bad McCain didn't find her attractive.
same innuendos continue...Rice has said numerous times - SHE DOESN'T WANT TO RUN FOR ANYTHING...
Palin is going to get her revenge:-D Her upcoming book "Going Rogue" which is not published yet is already a best-seller online.(v) You go, girl! Get your well deserved millions, and kick that Mac's ass!

I wonder, what do individuals with bumper stickers "Free Tibet" and "Hope and Change" on the same car feel these days? (ch)
Obama snubbed Dalai Lama to appease China: Telegraph BarackObama somehow couldn’t carve out any time in his busy — nay, Olympian —schedule to meet with the Dalai Lama, despite almost two decades ofprecedents for presidential tetes-a-tetes with the Tibetan leader-in-exile. The Telegraph reports that the decision is no scheduling accident, but a deliberate snub predicated on diplomatic pressure from China: It means Mr Obama will become the first president not towelcome the Nobel peace prize winner to the White House since the DalaiLama began visiting Washington in 1991. |
