Well, Sergey got upset because Pavel insulted him and did it repeatedly. I would probably get even more upset than Sergey in situation like this. Think about it. Guy is putting his life on the line for Pavel and he is unsulting him.
Wouldn;t you be upset about it?

There is the reason for it. Sergey is patriot of this country, working for his country and you not going to insult him in political debate about his and YOUR country

He-he...the same story from one group to another (md) - we don't have classified information, we don't know which side is right (any normal person can make conclusions and observation, expect those with no spine), the quality of life comes first.(H) ...why exactly is someone participating in the discussion they have no interest in, don't respect people in the forum, have nothing interesting to contribute???

just take Iranians, for example...their regime is terrible, but people, at least, are trying to resist it somewhat, risking their lives, doing something...Iranians who live in US - so pro-western, pro-American, more than some most democrats...:-)

Pavel, difference is that he is defending his TEAM, his COUNTRY for real. And you are not. So even if he said something which you do not like, you should at least respect it. I personally doubt that you have more information about situation between Georgia and Russian than he does. Obviously they have different security clearances and different access levels, but anyhow his is HIGHER than yours.
So, say - SORRY to him and show the respect.

People! Let me clear something over here! I’m not, demanding any respect or special treatment as a Service Member. I don’t consider my self better, than anybody else who loves this country! It is not, why I write all this! I would write exactly the same things if I would be a janitor. It’s written cause of the clear fact of Russian impudent invasion of an independent and friendly to us country! And it boils my blood, when people are living in US, but openly supporting our enemies. I don’t need Zakharov’s apology. I won’t believe in it anyway.
