--------------------------------------------------------------------- yes, we're the undisputed victors (do we have a sarcasm smiley?), and it only cost us a measly thirteen trillion dollars. but far be it from me to put a price tag on freedom and democracy. concerning the "главный козел", I can't help but agree with Geller, luckily he's no longer in charge. |
CBO: Eight Years of Iraq War Cost Less Than Stimulus Act

CBO: Eight Years of Iraq War Cost Less Than Stimulus Act
----------------------------------------------------------------------- and what do we have to show for it? at least the Stimulus Act is an investment in ourselves... |
Which war ???
World War II? Why don't you account for all unnecessary government agency, fat pensions, new Health Care (10 budget years for 6 usage years) and then talk about cash cows? The military spending may be a lot of money, at least they are outlined in the Constitution... Name another Government agency from the US Constitution, which needs government budget. |
Nowhere in their wildest dreams did our forefathers anticipate the wasteful squandering of billions of taxpayer dollars that took place in Iraq. They're spinning in their graves as we speak.
|
What about borrowing from China to fund a "stymulus" that is keeping double digit unemployment and leading us to a double-dip recession? What happens to our forefathers with that scenario? At least the wars are fought to protect American interests, what happens to America when money that we don't have are given to cronies, and, who knows, might be out of this country by now?
|
The president said the "most urgent task" is to restore the economy and put people back to work. He blamed the country's financial straits in part on U.S. involvement in war.
Ya ya ya so lame another excuse from O Bummer!!!!!!!!! |
Another reason to vote the dumocrats out! They take credit for something they voted against !!!
|
This king speaks with forked tougn....Say it today forget what he said in two weeks. Boy, he wants folks to vote for his party. Trader, lier, An onononon. Please folks remember him for what he does, not what he says. What about those 600$ + shoes Machell bought in Hawaii . Of course we paid for them. Silly nothings gone wild.

At least the wars are fought to protect American interests
---------------------------------------------------------------------- what interest did we protect? GW's desire to prove something to papa Bush? and on top of it all, he used deception to get us to invade. |
You don't think that Saddam-free Iraq was in best American interests? That the fact that Syria and Libya stopped pursuing nuclear programs right after the invasion of Iraq was not in American favor?
|
That the fact that Syria and Libya stopped pursuing nuclear programsright after the invasion of Iraq was not in American favor?
------------------------------------------------------------------------ were we in danger of being attacked by either of those countries...? the invasion didn't seem to have much of an impact on Iran's and North Korea's ambitions... and are you sure about Syria? Updated July 2009 Nuclear Overview <img src="***********.nti.org/images/dot_red.gif" alt="redline" name="redline" id="redline" border="0" width="380" height="1">A member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) since 1969, and a proponent of a Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone (NWFZ)in the Middle East, Syria is nonetheless suspected of harboring nuclearweapons ambitions. While Damascus is currently known to possess onlyone small operational research reactor, the Chinese built SRR-1, it has consistently pursued more advanced nuclear technologies. |
Russian nuclear agency says Iran's first nuclear plant will start getting fuel next week. This was actually happening august 10th 2010. So when did they stopped????
|
And so the Russian, Persian, Assyrian Alliance begins. And Obama does nothing to stop it.
|
Obama has only been in the office for 2 years and he's already won more wars then Bush in 8!! :)
|
Hey, go and read the History books ... of tomorrow...
Obama, the fearless general of the West took control of the failing campaign and decisively won it Cheers!(v) |
