Лина, я желаю Вашим окружающим побольше терпения... или ... хорошего, дешевого шринка...
Не обижайтесь, если больше не буду отвечать на Ваш Bull - надоело!

It's nice to have all the mainstream media in your pocket.
Compare the press coverage of the Katrina and current environmental disaster in the Gulf. Bush visited Louisiana the next day after the Katrina hit. And still he was not fast enough.
Obama visited the disaster area on the 10th day!!! ( He was too busy campaining) . And not much grief in the media. Bias?
Though he dispatched some lawyers to sue the BP, and a head of the EPA to listen to the locals how the Bush administration was slow to respond to the Katrina.
Does it strike anyone as utterly Orwelian??? Or is it just me?

On August 29, Katrina's storm surge caused 53 different levee breaches in greater New Orleans submerging eighty percent of the city. The storm surge also devastated the coasts of Mississippi and Alabama, making Katrina the most destructive and costliest natural disaster in the history of the United States, and the deadliest hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane.
The confirmed death toll (total of direct and indirect deaths) is 1,836, mainly from Louisiana (1,577) and Mississippi (238).

Federal disaster declarations covered 90,000 square miles (233,000 km?) of the United States, an area almost as large as the United Kingdom. The hurricane left an estimated three million people without electricity. On September 3, 2005, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff described the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina as "probably the worst catastrophe, or set of catastrophes," in the country's history,

The huge Louisiana oil spill is pumping thousands of gallons into the Gulf of Mexico threatening the wildlife and putting many at risk for their livelihood (livelihood, not life) as fishing and other support services will be affected for several months.
do you honestly not see the difference between the two?

didn't we know the hirricane was coming?
The criticisms of the government's response to Hurricane Katrina primarily consisted of criticism of mismanagement and lack of leadership in the relief efforts in response to the storm and its aftermath. More specifically, the criticism focused on the delayed response to the flooding of New Orleans, and the subsequent state of chaos in the Crescent City.
Deaths from thirst, exhaustion, and violence, days after the storm had passed, fueled the criticism, as did the dilemma of the evacuees at facilities such as the Louisiana Superdome (designed to handle 800, yet 30,000 arrived) and the New Orleans Civic Center (not designed as an evacuation center, yet 25,000 arrived).

An ABC News Poll conducted on September 2, 2005, showed more blame was being directed at state and local governments (75%) than at the Federal government (67%), with 44% blaming Bush's leadership directly.

LOUISIANA – Emboldened by their protests against the United States government, several Tea Party organizations made their way to Louisiana this morning in an effort to stop the massive Gulf oil spill by shouting slogans at it.
“Don’t Tread on me!” shouted one protester near the marshlands along Louisiana’s southern coast.
“GET A BRAIN! MORANS,” read one sign.

Later today, Tea Party star Sarah Palin is expected to fly to Mississippi to speak to affected coastal residents at a local community center. Residents will be allowed to listen to her words of hope and encouragement for a small donation to a local anti-abortion organization.

While the Tea Party was enthusiastic in their attempts to stop the oil spill with slogans and protest signs (“Oil Spill Distribution = Communism!” read one such sign), some have questioned whether many Tea Partiers and Republicans have a concept of real-world solutions.

In other oil spills news, the nearly 2,000 people that lost their lives and the thousands that were left destitute due to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina could not be reached for comment on right-wing allegations that the oil spill amounted to “Obama’s Katrina.”
