American people showed who is the boss. Obama accused them of not understanding that his change is good for them. Does he really think we are so limited or this is just another of his sharades? In either situation he got 2 ugly years on his hands.

Kimberley, this is not the first time Obama takes this stance. i've heard him say several times that the reason the country is against Obamacare is because they don't understand. I find it very insulting -- the suggestion that it can not possibly be anything wrong with his plan, we are all just too stupid to get it. I this attitude is one of the reasons Dems got their asses handed to them on Tuesday

Corruption among politicians is nothing new and existed for thousands of years. US stated political system unlike political system in the former USSR is based on the system of "checks and balances". Certainly there are many politicians who are corrupt or would like to be, for exmple Charles Rangel, democrat from Harlem ( NYC). As powerful as he was, our system of "checks and balances" brought him down. So I do not necessarily share your pessimism. As far as tough times for America, who knows, while entire world is shaking off the dead weight of socialism, democratic party and Obama are trying to bring it here. I just hope he doesn't succeed.

Savannah Guthrie asks President Obama: "Just following up on what Ben just talked about, you don't seem to be reflecting or second-guessing any of the policy decisions you've made, instead saying the message the voters were sending was about frustration with the economy or maybe even chalking it up to a failure on your part to communicate effectively. If you're not reflecting on your policy agenda, is it possible voters can conclude you're still not getting it?"
