Blaming the unions for the demise of the industry is like blaming Twinkie, Inc. for obesity. It was the management that made greedy and stupid decisions to make shit that no one, not ever hard core patriots, wants to buy.

And the government with its comminity organizing experience will now "take a look at GM's business plan" and VOTE on the bailout package. That's like me looking at NASA blueprints and, looking all pompous, approving the lounge. Same difference.

As to the union pay: don't blame the janitor for making whatever you think he takes home. And don't count other people's money. That's just bad taste. It's not the union member's fault. It's the union bosses who are very influential politically and the managers (the top ones) who are splitting the pot with the union bosses when they milk the system, blame each other, and demand even more handouts.
