Duh! Guess who puts the unions in this bargaining position? The
management and the government. If the auto industry could go belly up
30 years ago, the way it should have, the unions would not be in the
position to harrass. If the parents had a choice of public/charter
schools, the UFT would not hold the DOE's contract. There would BE NO
CONTRACT to speak of. Same thing with the hospitals. It's a tall
money making scheme and everyone is in on it.
