that&39;m I'm talking about when I say it takes a little understanding of how this system works now and what they are proposing. Right now, with private insurance, is you have terminal cancer, you will get 2-8 weeks hospice care paid. Medicare - depending on state where you live in, pays about 2 month ( not much better). If one is suffering from terminal cancer and will buy into "public option" - they will provide longer hospice care.
Of course, if one is looking at this and never dealt with those situations with existing systems, it looks like they are just trying to get rid of you fast and cheap. In fact, existing systems are worse or nonexistent for many.
