Do you think Justice Jinsburg wants to be with a prostitute?? It's about personal freedoms, the notion that you seem to hate so much.
Now the passage is clear that no Israeli woman should be a prostitute, but it's also clear god has no issues with other prostitutes. It's also clear from the story of Judah.
Now, if we evaluate the combination of laws in torah it makes sense.
1) For a woman to have pre-marital sex is a deadly sin
2) For a man to masturbate is a deadly sin
3) The only legal way for unmarried man to have release is a non-jewish prostitute.

if we legalize prostitution, we would have to regulate it, rate it (H), subsidize for those who can't afford it, because it becomes a right for everyone not just the rich, it's gonna become the main compaign issue - how to make it affordable, how to improve it...well, yeah, why not? something to think about...should be fun...and then of course, equality...hmmm...wives will use the services too...is it ok with you? just asking...:-)

Prostitution is already legal in Nevada.. the latest bunch of religious freaks who tried to ban it had it on a ballot and it got defeated with 2:1 margin, so maybe your view is a minority, maybe you are a fringe radical?
Regulation of the prostitution is not much different from the regulation of the nail salons or massage parlors.
If it's legal it's a legitimate business that creates jobs and pays taxes.

I like how you throw at me all the alligations about the various prohibitions...I personally never even had a chance to vote to legalize it or not...but check out what happened in not so conservative and religious California...the majority voted NO on legalizing it...I wonder why..

Which Ginsburg views? She has written 100s of opinions as a member of supreme court.. and 1000s before that.
