I hate to tell you, guys, but all news media in the USA, as well as in any other country, are politicized. One can say whatever the heck one wants, but it's true that one can be interrupted for a "commercial break" or the like. But then it's up to you to guess about the reason of interruption. The news are not presented randomly, but carefully selected and timed in accordance with other chanels.Ask anybody who took a sociolody class, they will tell you. I personally did not take it, but one of the professors at my university told us about it. It's quite fascinating.

Natalia, (F) professors are politicized themselves big time..;-) I would not trust what professors say unless I know whom I am talking with...:-)

I agree with you, Svetlana, but as to the professors, it was a general talk without pointing fingers. Just about the way news media make money and address various issues depending on political support of the chanel and polling results. It's still a huge money spinning machine.

I don't know about other countries, but in this country it has nothing to do with the political support, but the own views and political leanings of the journalists, news anchors themsleves...

Here it is a little bit of "politicizing the masses." Ihad to takea class on cultural sensitivity (it's in my compulsory program list). Mama mia! Karaul! Never thought of myself as"a blue-eyed white majority" before that. It was a great class, do not take me wrong, but this "white skin" bias nearly killed me morally. I live in AZ, and I have a very white skin by nature, never thought it would be an issue, except "blue legs in the spring time." But here we go, it's an issue here.According toour text book, all Whites are considered to be racists. Seriously! It was nuts! And at the same time, my Mexican-American friends (great people)were talking about how their parents and children like having a lighter skin! That was crazy.
