And will not argue about anything. But will just give here one case example of what happens, and I see those every day. I saw a kid today , 10 month old, who was seen in my office last time when he was 2 weeks old. They either lost insurance, or didn't sign up, or something... So, she didn't take him to any physicals, he is totally not immunized; but she went to the ED's around town many times and now has $2950 in collections. I ended up seeing him, because he was sick -and it's a law - we can't turn him away, and most likely will never see my money for this visit, fine... We gave him shots from the free fund. But if this kid had insurance his care will cost all of us not close to 3K, but about $500 for all those appointments. This is a very, very common math..... It is cheaper just to give people the basics.....we all pay for it anyways, just this way will pay less.
