I am not sure this "multi-dating" is common at all. My kids are at the "dating" age, and they tell me all kinds of stories. Not only they don't date more then one person, but it is also very common not to date for a period of time after breaking up "not to hurt the other person's feelings". But what do i know, maybe it's only in their "nerdy" circles....
